The Hermitage Museum Foundation (HMF) is part of a global network of international affiliates supporting and promoting The Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia. 

Our Mission

Established in 1994, the Hermitage Museum Foundation (HMF) is an independent U.S. foundation, a registered 501(c) (3) nonprofit, that contributes to the preservation and promotion of the Hermitage Museum and its collections, and promotes cultural exchange and scholarship between the U.S. and Russia through its work with American institutions, corporations, and individuals.

HMF values art and culture as a bridge, connecting people all over the world, as it has for centuries. The encyclopedic collection’s global reach is a beacon for all humanity and must be protected, preserved, researched, and accessible all around the world.
